Composition of the material: Powder antifriction material PA-GZGr2D20S10 on the base of iron.
Main characteristics of the material:

  • ● Ultimate cut strength – 100 MPa minimum;
  • ● Hardness – 950 - 1 000 MPа;
  • ● Friction coefficient (while P = 2,8 MPa, v = 4 m/s) – 0,015 … 0,03;
  • ● Gripping pressure – 3,0 … 3,2 MPa;
  • ● Wear rate (while P = 2,8 MPa, v = 4 m/s) – 45,1•10-12 mkm/km;

Characteristics of the product: Steel units of cylinders of axial piston pumps with antifriction powder layers on the working surfaces avoid the use of an expensive bronze. They ensure the increase of operating characteristics for pumps 1,5 - 2 times and keep a high pump efficiency.

An output mastery of developed products: An output of products is mastered at the pilot plant of O.V. Roman Powder Metallurgy Institute; yield is 5 000 pieces per year.
