Field of application: the production of tools for the manufacture of glass containers by press-blower and press methods.
The composition of the material: the material is produced by copper alloy infiltration of a powder alloy steel frame.
Physical and mechanical properties of the material:
temporary resistance – 650-850 MPa;
hardness – 180-320 HB;
heat conductivity – 45-55 W/ m K;
porosity – 3-5%;
pore size – less than 50 microns;
impact strength – 45-60 kJ/m2;
coefficient of thermal expansion – 12.2-12.8;
maximum operating temperature – up to 800 °C.
Type and characteristics of products. The glass-forming tool from the developed material has a durability 5-7 times higher than the tool from alloyed cast iron.
An output mastery of developed products: products can be manufactured in the required quantities at Molodechno Powder Metallurgy Plant and O.V. Roman Powder Metallurgy Institute.
Novelty: the material and manufacturing technology are protected by patents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
