RESTORATION TECHNOLOGY OF ROTOR “CASKS” OF ELECTRIC ENGINES OF IMMERSION PUMPS



Characteristics. Iron corrosion and also vibrations and friction on the stator due to a non-uniform gap between the rotor and the stator owing to wear of protective bushings is a basic reason of wear of the rotor "casks" of the electric engine of the immersion pump. The three-layer coating is offered for restoration of the rotor "casks" of the electric engines of the immersion pumps including a sublayer of adhesion from non-magnetic material; the main layer is from magnet-soft material and the protective layer is from corrosion resistant material. All layers are applied using a gas-flame powder spraying method.

Application field: “Vodocanal” enterprises, using electric immersion pumps to produce water from borehole.

Level of completion: The technology, the equipment and materials are developed for spraying of coatings. This development is mastered in production.

Results of technology application. A complete restoration of the functional properties of a product, the increase of life service at operation by 2-3 times, electric power saving is up to 50% on one borehole, reduction of a number of preventive repairs.

Scientific and technical level. Patent work of the offered development is in progress. It is a novel development; there are no any analogs to compare with.

Output mastering in production. The technology is mastered at PMI. Additional costs are not necessary in case of increase in production volume.
